Pottery: A person can get along without having pottery but it does seem awfully close to living that proverbial "life of quiet desperation." Elaine makes pottery nearly every day and this is a place for photographs of her studio and her pottery. Right now, there ain't much.

Volcanoes: Dan's take on the geology of the Pinacate Volcanic Field.

Gravestones: became our hobby while we lived in New England and remain so even though the opportunities to find spectacular stones are far fewer in the southwest. This section is a representative sample of images collected over the years we lived in Boston. This link goes to the old website that I haven't changed in years. Interesting stones, though.
